Constructing a Blessing
A blessing can take different forms. Sometimes a blessing is a declaration, making a statement about who you are as a child of God or what you receive because you belong to Him.
Other times it is prayer-like, submitting a petition to the Lord.
May Yehovah God be a tower of salvation to you and may He show mercy to His anointed.

Often a blessing is conditional upon the response and behavior of the one who receives the blessing, for example,
May you seek first the kingdom of God
and His righteousness and all the things you need shall be added unto you.
~ Matthew 6:33 (KJV) ~
A blessing may take on a prophetic tone.
May the Spirit of the Lord fill you with power. May He help you do what is fair
and may He make you brave.
