When Yehovah God blesses something it is permanently blessed. David said to the Lord “For You, O Lord, have blessed, and it is blessed forever” (1 Chron. 17:27b, NASB).

Yehovah God blessed the seventh day of the week, later to be identified as the Sabbath (or Shabbat, in Hebrew). “God blessed the seventh day and separated it as holy; because on that day God rested from all His work which He created, so that it itself could produce”.
