Weekly blessings

Blessings over Israel

And I will bless those who bless you,
and the one who curses you I will curse.
And in you all the families of the earth will be blessed.
~ Genesis 12:3 (NASB) ~
  • May the Lord surely bless you and make your
    descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and as the sand on the seashore (Gen. 22:17a, NIV).
  • May you and your descendants possess the cities of
    your enemies (Gen. 22:17b, CJB).
  • May all nations on earth be blessed by you and your
    descendants because you have obeyed the Lord (Gen.22:18, NIV).
  • May God Almighty bless you and make you fruitful
    and multiply you that you may become a company of
    many peoples (Gen. 28:3, CJB).
  • May the Lord give you and your descendants the
    blessing given to Abraham, so that you may take
    possession of the land God gave to Abraham (Gen.
    28:4, NIV).
  • May your pleas for deliverance rise up to God (Exod.
    2:23b, NLT).
  • May YHVH(God) hear your groaning and remember His covenant with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob (Exod. 2:24, CJB).
  • May God look on you and have concern for you (Exod. 2:25, NIV).
  • May the Lord pay close attention to you (Exod. 3:16, CJB).
  • May the Lord keep vigil for all the people of Israel
    through all their generations (Exod. 12:42b, CJB).
  • May the Lord be your healer, Yehovah Rapha (Exod. 15:26, CJB).
  • May the Lord be your Banner, Yehovah Nissi (Exod.
    17:15, NIV).

  1. I sometimes surggtle with how to balance waiting on God and my own responsibility. God created us with brains and He expects us to use them! Yet there are times when I know I can take care of a situation but, wonder, what would God want me to do? Then I wait.
