God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

Fear, trials, and tribulation have a way of eliciting prayer. People who otherwise profess no faith in God (YHVH) will often turn to Him in life-threatening situations. As believers, we know-that-we-know our help comes from the LORD…continually.

We know security systems don’t really protect us from intruders and armies don’t truly defend us from invaders. Vitamins, exercise and nutrition aren’t our ultimate defenses against sickness and disease. No, we trust in the LORD for our protection and safety. Through His Word, we bolster our faith in His desire and ability to protect us. Yehovah God is our refuge!
