Blessings for Yehovah God’s Children

But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of Him who hath called you out of darkness into His marvelous light. ~ 1 Peter 2:9 (KJV) ~

But if some of the branches were broken off, and you, being a wild olive, were grafted in among them and became partaker with them of the rich root of the olive tree, do not be arrogant toward the branches; but if you are arrogant, remember that it is not you who supports the root, but the root supports you. ~ Romans 11:17-18 (NASB) ~

What an awesome privilege…YHVH God chose us! He adopted us into His family. Having been grafted into the tree of Israel, we share in the same covenant He made with Abraham the patriarch. We may legitimately call the King of the entire universe our “Abba, Father.” He delights in us, His children. As we allow His Holy Spirit to internalize these truths within us, we will begin to live with the confidence and humility of heirs to the Eternal Sovereign. We can then embrace our calling to live sanctified lives and walk in the power and victory for which we are destined.
