Blessings about Confrontation
May the Lord (Yehovah) be a refuge for you in times of oppression, your stronghold in times of trouble. Because you know the name of the Lord (Yehovah), you can confidently put your trust in Him, for the Lord has never forsaken those who seek Him (Ps. 9:9-10, NIV).
May the Lord train your hands for battle; may your arms be able to bend a bow of bronze. Because God is the One who has called you, He will enable you to achieve results beyond any level you think to be possible (Ps. 18:34, TNIV).
May the Lord (Yehovah) prepare a table before you in the presence of your enemies, even in the midst of oppression, tribulation, or fear (Ps. 23:5a, KJV).
May you hold your head higher than your enemies around you. May you offer joyful sacrifices in God’s Holy Tent. May you sing and praise the Lord (Ps. 27:6, NCV).
May the Lord protect you and keep you alive, and you shall be called blessed upon the earth. May the Lord not give you over to the desire of your enemies (Ps. 41:2, NASB).
