Blessings for Joy

These things I have spoken to you so that My joy may be in you, and that your joy may be made full.

~ John 15:11 (NASB) ~

Yehovah God expresses joy in all three persons of the Godhead and He wants us to have joy. Happiness may be a demonstration of joy but it does not fully describe the extent of joy. There was heavenly rejoicing over the act of creation. The shepherd in the parable rejoiced in the recovery of His lost sheep. Yeshua (Jesus), the author and finisher of our faith, endured the tree for the joy that was set before Him. Fullness of joy results from being in God’s will. The Scriptures remind us that our heavenly Father is the source of true joy, contentment, and happiness.

May you be full of joy as you covenant, with all your heart and with all your being, to put to death those behaviors, thoughts, and attitudes in your life that refuse to seek the Lord God. May you be full of joy because of this oath you make with all your heart and because you seek Him with all your will; you will find Him and He will give you rest all around.
